Family Mediation Services & Section 60I Certificates
Separation can feel overwhelming, but mediation offers a calmer way forward. Together, we work through the two big issues that often arise: making parenting arrangements for your children, and reaching a fair property settlement.
Mediation provides a safe, structured space to talk, find solutions, and make practical agreements - without the stress and expense of going to court.
Flourish Mediation offers mediation services online, making family law matters easier, faster and less stressful.
-
Parenting Arrangements
When parents separate, it’s important to make clear, practical plans for your children. Mediation helps you and the other parent talk through things like where the children will live, how time will be shared, and how important decisions (like schooling and health) will be made.
Instead of going through court, mediation gives you a safe space to focus on what’s best for your children and create an agreement that works for your family.

-
Property Settlement
Separation often involves working out how to fairly divide property, money and debts. Mediation gives you the chance to sit down and make decisions together about the family home, savings, superannuation, vehicles, or other assets - without a costly and stressful court process.
With Nicole’s strong background in family law, Nicole will help you achieve the goal of reaching a fair and practical agreement that allows you both to move forward with confidence.

-
Section 60I Certificates
Before you can apply to the Court for parenting orders, the law usually requires you to try mediation first. At the end of the process, Nicole can issue what’s called a Section 60I Certificate if needed.
This certificate shows the Court that you have tried mediation, or that mediation wasn’t appropriate in your circumstances. In some urgent or exceptional situations, you won’t need a Section 60I Certificate.
